People, tools and things I keep stealing from

The people I look up to, the websites I admire and the tools I reach for. I add to this whenever something makes me want to go and build.

One name goes above the list. Manu Arora got me my first job, built Aceternity UI into something a large part of the internet builds with, and has been the bar I have been chasing since before I could write anything worth reading. Everything below is a list. He is the reason there is one.

The sites I kept going back to while building this one. Each line is something I actually took rather than a vague nod, and the code that uses it carries the same credit in a comment, so the two can't drift apart.

  The debossed dish the avatar sits in, the prints scattered across the about page, and half the 45° hatch running down the gutters.

  Space Grotesk on the small labels, the marker-pen highlights, the bio set large and skimmable, and the logo-in-front-of-the-name links.

  Bricolage Grotesque on anything that shouts, and the tracked label with a hairline running out to the edge.

  The hand-drawn arrow in the margin, and the shape of the experience list: tile, name, pill, dates, chevron.

  Signing the page, and having the name write itself on rather than fade in.

  The band for whatever I'm working on right now, which is the reason that section exists, and the shape of the about page.
